Q: What services does BioRevise provide?
A: BioRevise will proofread and edit many forms of scientific writing, including primary research articles, reviews, book chapters, clinical reports and case studies, grant and research proposals, abstracts, and presentations. In addition to correcting spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors, we will also edit the text of document to ensure a high level of clarity and conciseness. Q: Why should I choose BioRevise for my scientific editing needs?

A. Collectively, our editors have an incredible breadth of expertise. However, in the event that we do not have an editor on staff with appropriate expertise, we will inform you and discuss options on how to proceed.
Q. Can BioRevise format my scientific document for a specific journal?
A. Our editors will look at the author guidelines for your target journal and let you know whether your article is correctly formatted. However, it is the author's responsibility to adhere to the appropriate word count and follow the journal's formatting requirements to the best of their ability prior to submitting their manuscript to BioRevise.

TIMING
Q: How long does the editing process take?
A: The turnaround time for our editing services is typically 3-4 business days. This amount of time will allow the editor to thoroughly read and edit the document several times. Each document will also then be reviewed by an additional editor after the revisions are completed to ensure that all mistakes have been corrected and the wording of the final document is clear and flows logically.
Q. How long will it take to receive a quote for a scientific editing job?
A. After submitting a document to BioRevise, within 24 hours you will receive a quote indicating the fee for our editing services.

Q. Once I accept the quote, how long will it take to receive an edited document?
A. In most cases, your edited document will be returned to you in three to four business days.
Q. Do you perform rush editing?
A. Rush services can be provided for an additional 25% fee. This service ensures the finished document is returned to you in 24 to 48 hours.

Q. What measures does BioRevise take to ensure my document is confidential?
A. The confidentiality of an investigator's research is of the utmost importance to us here at BioRevise. Therefore, all employees sign confidentiality agreements prior to editing scientific documents.

PROCESS
Q. How many editors participate in the scientific editing process?
A. After receiving your document, BioRevise assigns it to one editor based on his or her field of expertise. After this editor completes the revision, the document is assigned to one or two different editors who evaluate the document to ensure no mistakes were made and no errors were left uncorrected. In the case of larger documents, such as grant proposals, your document may initially be reviewed by several editors. All revisions are read and approved by a senior BioRevise editor before your document is returned to you.
Q. Can I ask the editor questions after i've received a revised manuscript?
A. BioRevise guarantees satisfaction with each editing project. If you have a question or comment after receiving your edited manuscript you can email BioRevise to discuss your concerns. The editor will look at your manuscript again for no additional cost. If you have additional text to add to your manuscript, we will edit these additions and you will only be charged for the additional word count. Top

PAYMENT
Q. How will I be billed for BioRevise medical editing services?
A. Upon completion of a job, we email invoices to investigators via paypal. The investigator can follow the links in the email and make payments with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Debit, and bank transfer. Since payments are mediated by a highly reputable 3rd party, investigator payment information is kept completely secure and confidential. BioRevise, does not have access to password or credit card information.
Q. When do I have to pay my account balance for scientific editing services?
A. We will send you an invoice along with your edited manuscript. Payment for our services is expected within 5 business day of receipt of your completed editing project. We accept payment via Paypal.
